NEW ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS APPOINTED
AT THE DRISKELL CENTER, UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND
College Park, MD – The Driskell Center at the University of Maryland is pleased to announce the appointment of new Advisory Council members. These new appointments come at a significant time as The Driskell Center reaffirms its mission of celebrating and studying African American art and culture while fostering appreciation for diversity through exhibitions, research, and public programs.

These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their respective fields and are committed to guiding The Driskell Center in its next phase of growth and impact. "I am delighted to welcome such a talented group of leaders, scholars, and cultural workers to The Driskell Center’s new Advisory Council, and am confident that their insights and experience will help us find exciting new ways to expand our impact on a national (and even international) level,” said Jordana Moore Saggese, The Driskell Center’s Director.
The new advisory members officially began their two-year terms on April 1st, 2024, as our Center is poised to launch new initiatives and further its collaborations with artists, scholars, and communities nationwide.
