Lecture Title: “I GREET YOU WHOLE: ASSEMBLAGE & CONNECTIONS IN AFRICAN AMERICAN ART”. The lecture features Dr. Johnetta B. Cole, the Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art in Washington, DC. Dr. Cole earned her Ph.D. in anthropology from Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, and served as President of Spelman College, Atlanta, GA, and Bennett College, Greensboro, NC.
