vanessa german wins 2022 Heinz Award and will join artist Deborah Roberts for a virtual discussion.

vanessa german, "citizen artist" and recipient of a 2022 Heinz Award for the Arts, first showcased her work at the Driskell Center. She will join fellow artist Deobrah Roberts for a virtual discussion covering devotion to a deep creative practice that blurs life an art. vanessa will also share live spoken-word poetry in response to specific artworks, and will take questions from the audience.
